HIGH SCHOOL: Was a 2-time All-Orange League first team pick during a 3-year varsity career at Savanna High in Anaheim, Calif. ... As a 2006 senior, completed 111-of-189 (.587) passes for 1,781 yards and 18 TDs ... Also rushed for 664 yards on 135 carries (4.9 avg.) and rushed for another 15 TDs while leading the Rebels to the Orange League title ... Named league football MVP and male athlete of the year ... Led the north to victory in the Orange County Prep All-Star game by completing 14-of-22 passes for 160 yards and a TD while running for 2 more TDs while rushing for another 300 yards and 8 TDs... As a 2005 junior, threw for a school-record 2,157 yards and 20 TDs ... Also compete in track & field for the Rebels, winning the Orange League 110-meter hurdles title as a senior ... Graduated in the top 4-percent of his class.
