THIS YEAR: The Cougars’ most experienced wide receiver, fifth-year senior Todd Wilson is a hard-nosed receiver who is also a good run blocker ... Is not afraid to go over the middle ... Gives Azusa Pacific a physical presence among the wide outs.

2006: Appeared in 9 of the Cougars’ 10 games, starting 6 ... Recorded 9 receptions for 108 yards ... Tallied a career-high 3 grabs for 44 yards, including a career-best 23-yarder for a near touchdown in the victory at Malone ... Seven of his 9 catches produced first downs ... Also rushed the ball twice.

2005: Was a key reserve as a 2005 sophomore, appearing in all 10 games as both a receiver and a special teams player … Registered his only catch of the season, a 12-yard grab, in the victory over Southern Oregon.

2004: Appeared in all 14 games during his 2004 redshirt freshman season … Had 1 catch, a 5-yard grab vs. Chapman … Also played special teams and recorded his 1 tackle vs. Chapman.

2003: Redshirted his first season at Azusa Pacific while attending classes and practicing with the team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played 3 seasons of varsity football for Southern California power Hart High out of Newhall, Calif. … Had 97 receptions during his 3-year career … Excelled on defense in the Indian secondary where he was a 2-time All-Santa Clarita Valley selection by the Newhall Signal … As a 2002 senior, named All-CIF and All-Foothill League first team as a defensive back … In the Indians’ 14-7 CIF semifinal victory over San Clemente, intercepted a pass in the closing minutes to clinch the victory … Was also all-league second team as a receiver … Was a member of Hart program that went 37-3-1 during his 3 years, winning the 2000 and 2001 CIF 3A division crowns (Indians advanced to the 2002 CIF title game) … As a 2001 junior, had 8 catches for 150 yards and a TD in the Indians’ CIF quarterfinal victory over Mira Costa … Was also a 2-year starter for the Hart baseball program (third baseman).

PERSONAL: Born April 1, 1985 to Tom (retired) and Terri (teacher aid) Wilson … Has a younger brother (Tyler) and a younger sister (Tamara) … His cousins, Dan (men's soccer) and Annette (women's volleyball) Wilson, were standout athletes at Azusa Pacific … Majoring in exercise and sport science ... Enjoys surfing and plays the guitar … Would like go into law enforcement.
