Glory Fung

Glory Fung returns to his alma mater as a first-year assistant athletic trainer for Azusa Pacific. Fung is the point person of medical care and treatment for Cougar football.

Fung comes back to Azusa Pacific after a 2-year stay at California Baptist University where he served as the Lancers’ assistant athletic trainer. He was in charge of the prevention and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for the Lancer men’s soccer, women’s basketball and softball programs.

Fung was an undergraduate student at Azusa Pacific from 1999 to 2003, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training with a minor in leadership studies. He was a popular student athletic trainer during his tenure at Azusa Pacific, working with several sports, including the Cougars’ nationally-ranked men’s basketball team.

Fung continued his studies as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Cal State Monterey Bay from 2003 to 2005 before moving on to California Baptist.

Fung is certified with the National Athletic Trainers Association and the American Red Cross as a CPR and first-aid instructor.

Other responsibilities for Fung at Azusa Pacific include working with the Cougar men’s and women’s track & field teams.

Glory and his wife, Jacqueline, reside in Lake Forest.
