Nate Nasca is in his sixth year as an assistant coach for the Azusa Pacific track & field program.

As Azusa Pacific's sprints and hurdles coach, Nasca has coached 10 NAIA All-Americans and five individual national champions, and he has earned United States Olympic Weightlifting Level 1 certification as well as several U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) certifications (listed below). He is also the team's head strength and conditioning coach.

Nasca was a member of the coaching staff that led Azusa Pacific to the 2012 NAIA Women's Indoor National Championship, and he also coached the men's 4x100 relay team that ran a 39.90 to set the school record at the 2012 NAIA Outdoor National Championship for the program's only sub-40 second performance.

As an assistant coach at Pearl City (Hawai'i) High School in 2009, Nasca served as the sprints and hurdles coach, where he mentored the team's only state finalist that year.

Nasca spent his first three years of college at Azusa Pacific, participating in football as a wide receiver and kick returner as well as spending three years with the Cougar track & field program. He ran on the Cougars' national champion distance medley relay team and was an All-American in the 60-meter hurdles to help lead Azusa Pacific to the 2007 indoor national title. He completed his football career at the University of Hawai'i.

In high school, Nasca made the all-conference first team offense and defense teams at Pearl City, helping lead the school to its first football playoff appearance in 20 years. In track, Nasca was the 2004 state champion in the 100-meters and 110-meter hurdles, helping Pearl City become the first public-school team to claim a state title in Hawai'i since 1984.

Born in Honolulu, Hawai'i, Nasca attended Azusa Pacific for three years before graduating in 2009 from the University of Hawai'i Manoa with a degree in interdisciplinary studies and a minor in history. He currently resides in Azusa.
