2012 (redshirt): Did not play in a game but practiced with the Cougars while attending classes at Azusa Pacific.

High School: Played under head coach Patrick Walsh at Serra High School for three years... Captained the squad for one year... As a senior, led the team with 92 total tackles, which is 25 more than the second most on the team... Helped Serra finish the season with 11 wins and two losses... Had 2.5 sacks in CIF playoffs and led the division with 33 total tackles in playoffs.
