2012 (junior): Played in eight games, starting in seven of them at linebacker... Tallied 34 tackles on the season... Registered three sacks and one quarterback hurry along with six tackles for a loss... In the win against Dixie State, had nine tackles, which was the third most on the team... Also had an assist on a sack and 1.5 tackles for a loss in the win.

2011 (sophomore): Played in 10 games and started in one at linebacker... Had 18 tackles, five of which were solo tackles... Recorded four sacks and six tackles for a loss of 28 yards... Also notched three quarterback hurries and broke up two passes.

2010 (freshman): Did not play

2009 (redshirt): Sat out his first season at Azusa Pacific, redshirting the campaign while attending classes and practicing with the team.

High School: Was a standout during three seasons of varsity play for head coach Chris Johnson at Horizon High ... Registered 184 tackles in his three-year career, including a team-leading 83 as a 2008 senior when he earned All-Coastal League first-time recognition ... Best game came in a 42-18 victory over Bishop High when he recorded a career-high 16 tackles and a fumble recovery ... Recorded season-high 12 tackles in games both his junior and sophomore seasons ... Sparingly played running back as well ... Also lettered in baseball and batted .352 during his junior season.

Personal: Born May 13, 1991, in San Diego, Calif. ... Parents are Roger (aerospace) and Joyce (teacher) Danielson ... Has an older brother (Spencer, a senior linebacker for the Cougars) and a sister (Kylee) ... Majoring in communication studies but eventually would like to become a fireman.
