Harbor CC: Played two seasons for head coach Brett Peabody at wide receiver... Captained the team for one year... Led the Seahawks to back-to-back conference titles... Named to second team all-conference as a sophomore... Received the award for best WR/TE on the team.

High School: Played two years of varsity football at Narbonne High School as a wide receiver and defensive back for head coach Manuel Douglas... As a junior, helped the Gauchos to a record of 10-2 overall and 4-1 in the Marine League, playing in two games and collecting six tackles for the season... Came back as a senior to lead the Gauchos to a city section championship and Marine League Title... Was named most improved player on the team and first team all-Marine League... Finished second on the team in receiving with 517 yards on 25 catches for four touchdowns... Team finished the year undefeated in league-play with a 12-1-1 record overall.
