High School: Played three sports at Necedah Area Schools… Played basketball for two years and competed in track & field for one year… Played football as a wide receiver, safety, and running back for head coach Erick Mach… Captained the team for one year… Made varsity as a freshman as the team went 7-3 with a 5-2 in the Scenic Bluffs League… In his sophomore season, the team improved to 9-2 with a 6-1 record in league-play… In his junior season, the team achieved a record of 10-1 en route to an undefeated Scenic Bluffs League Title… As a senior, led the Cardinals into the third round of playoffs, where their season came to an end with a 9-3 record.
