2012 (freshman): Played in all ten conference games as a reserve nose guard as a true-freshman... Made 24 tackles, including 13 solo tackles, which was the most among Cougar freshmen... Against Central Washington, had a fumble recovery and broke up a pass en route to the Cougar's first win of the season... In the following game against Western Oregon, tallied two solo tackles with a sack for a loss of 10 yards... Finished the season with 6.5 tackles for a loss, which was tied for the most on the team... Added 2.0 sacks unassisted... Against Dixie State, had 1.5 tackles for a loss, a sack, and a blocked kick.
High School: Played three years of varsity football under head coach Kelley Moore at Mesa High School... As a junior, was a member of the second team all-state for Arizona... Was a first team all-region selection... As a senior, was a selection for first team all-state, all-city, all-region, and all-section.
