2011 (redshirt): Redshirted his first season at Azusa Pacific while attending classes.

High School: Played two years of varsity football at Oak Ridge High School under head coach Eric Cavaliere... Captained the team for one year... In his senior year, completed 147 passes for 2616 yards and 32 touchdowns with just six interceptions as he led the team to a 7-4 season.

PERSONAL: Born on Sept. 17, 1992 to Ron (Cubs baseball scout) and Wende (high school office assistant) Tostenson... Has one brother, Ty, and one sister, Maile... His father, Ron, played college baseball at Washington State University... Played in the minors for the Montreal Expos... In his two seasons had 146 hits, 53 runs batted in, and 34 stolen bases as an outfielder... Majors in sociology... Enjoys hunting, shooting, and running.
