THIS YEAR: Senior tailback Terrell Watson is the unquestioned leader of defending Great Northwest Athletic Conference champion Azusa Pacific, which enters its first season of full NCAA Division II membership and postseason eligibility in 2014 ... In just three years, Watson has rewritten virtually every school rushing record, including a handful that were still held by Cougar legend Christian Okoye ('86) ... 2013 (junior): Earned GNAC Offensive Player of the Year honors and piled up numerous other awards with his record-shattering campaign ... Also named National Christian College Athletic Association Offensive Co-Player of the Year ... Became the Cougars' third 1,000-yard rusher in two seasons, joining 2011 teammates QB John van den Raadt and RB Johnell Murphy to notch the milestone ...
