Senior QB John van den Raadt was named NAIA Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in a 51-28 win over Southern Oregon.

AZUSA, Calif. -- John van den Raadt was named the NAIA's National Offensive Player of the Week after leading Azusa Pacific to a 51-28 win over Southern Oregon Oct. 29. The senior QB piled up 388 yards of total offense and accounted for four touchdowns (two rushing, two passing), and he also broke the Cougar career completions record in a 14-of-26, 212-yard passing performance that was complemented by his 172-yard rushing performance on 19 carries.

Van den Raadt currently ranks fourth in the NAIA in rushing yards per game (107.9) and fifth nationally in total offense (2,381 yards). He is also Azusa Pacific's career record holder in total offense, accounting for 8,641 yards over his four-year career.
