AZUSA, Calif. -- The NAIA has announced the Football Championship Series (FCS) quarterfinal pairings, and No. 8-ranked Azusa Pacific will travel to Helena, Mont., for the second straight year to face defending NAIA champion and No. 2-ranked Carroll College.

Kickoff is scheduled for 12:07 p.m. (MST) at Carroll's Nelson Stadium. Unlike last year's snowy first-round playoff visit, the weekend weather forecast for Helena calls for partly cloudy conditions with temperatures around 40 degrees.

Azusa Pacific defeated No. 10 Ottawa (Kan.) at home Saturday, 49-26, while Carroll blanked another NAIA independent qualifier, Valley City State (N.D.), 47-0.

The Cougars are 0-6 all-time against Carroll. Last year, Carroll posted a 35-21 win in the first round of the playoffs in the Fighting Saints' closest playoff win until the national title game. Azusa Pacific's last playoff win came in 2004, when the Cougars advanced to the NAIA semifinals. That playoff run was ended by Carroll at Nelson Stadium in a 14-10 battle.
