AZUSA, Calif. -- Concerns over air quality in the Ellensburg area due to wildfires in the area have caused Central Washington University officials to move Saturday's football game between Central Washington and Azusa Pacific to a 12:30 p.m. kickoff at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell, Wash., which is a suburb of Seattle.
Pop Keeney Stadium, which sits about 35 miles north of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and about 15 miles northeast of downtown Seattle, is an artificial turf stadium which has a total seating capacity of 4,438, is located at: 9809 N.E. 188th St., Bothell, WA 98011. The stadium was recently renovated in 2010, a project which updated field lighting, replaced the field turf and visitor stands, and included construction of locker rooms, restrooms and concession facilities.
