AZUSA, Calif. -- The Azusa Pacific football program has announced its 2013 summer camp opportunities for both high school and youth players spanning from June 15-28.
An all day camp will be held for high school athletes on June 15, 21, and 22, and it is followed by a week-long youth camp for ages 5-14 June 24-28. Coaches and athletes from the Cougar program will instruct both the Young Cougar Camp and High School Camp on the Azusa Pacific campus.
Azusa Pacific Football High School Camp
Saturday, June 15; Friday, June 21; Saturday, June 22: 8 a.m.- 3 p.m.
The high school camp features an electric fast-paced day full of competition, skill building, and information on collegiate recruiting. Campers will participate in both individual and team competitions, receiving instruction from Azusa Pacific coaches and players.
Azusa Pacific Football Young Cougar Camp
Monday-Friday, June 24-28, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Open to players age 5-14, the Young Cougar Camp features coaching from Azusa Pacific players and coaches with daily seven-on-seven and flag football competition, as well as a variety of drills and training exercises. Each day participants will hear from various motivational speakers, and at the end of the week each athlete is given a report card from the coaches to review the camper’s progress and individual growth. There will be three age groups of competition: 5-7, 8-10, and 11-14.
