  • The Race is OnOct. 10, 2005 | The pursuit for a third straight NAIA playoff berth and the sixth in the past 8 years begins in earnest for Azusa Pacific when the Cougars host Western New Mexico, Saturday (Oct. 15) at 6 p.m.
  • Scared Hornets StingOct. 8, 2005 | Azusa Pacific put a scare in Sacramento State. However, the Hornets scored 3 TDs in less than 4 minutes to run away for a 41-19 victory.
  • A Step Up (and then some)Oct. 3, 2005 | Azusa Pacific takes a step up, and then some, in competition when the Cougars visit Sacramento State Saturday evening. It's only the second time in program history that the Cougars have playe a scholarship NCAA Division I-AA team.
  • A Check that Pays OffOct. 1, 2005 | Facing a gut-check challenge that meant the outcome of the game, Azusa Pacific's offensive unit answered the call and scored the game's final 10 points to lead the Cougars to a 27-17 victory over Southern Oregon.
  • Head Above Water?Sep. 26, 2005 | The NAIA's No. 16-ranked Azusa Pacific returns home for the second time in 5 weeks when the Cougars host NAIA rival Southern Oregon in attempt to get over .500 for the first time this season.
