ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Julio Moreno's goal in the 83rd minute lifted Roberts Wesleyan to a 2-1 victory over Azusa Pacific in the final game of the Holiday Inn Airport Classic. For Moreno it was his first goal of the season.

With the loss, Azusa Pacific returns to California with a 2-2-2 record while tournament host Roberts Wesleyan improves to 2-2-1 on the young campaign.

The Cougars got on the scoreboard first with a Jordan Jones tally in the 30th minute. Jeff Johnson was credited with the assist. However, Roberts Wesleyan answered less than 2 minutes later on a James Chase counter that sent the 2 teams into halftime deadlocked at 1-1. The game remained tied until Moreno snuck in the game-winner.

RWC out-shot Azusa Pacific, 10-5, including a 5-1 count in the first half.

In the other tournament game, Mobile defeated Bethel (Ind.), 2-0.
