AZUSA, Calif.-- As part of the National Christian College Athletics Association’s Christian Service Project, the Azusa Pacific Student Advisory Committee (SAAC) is organizing a canned food drive at Wednesday night’s NCCAA Women’s Soccer West Region final. Fans who bring one canned food item will receive free admission to the Cougars’ playoff match against Point Loma, with proceeds going to the St. Francis of Rome Catholic Church’s food bank.

Point Loma will also be running a canned food drive at Friday night’s NCCAA West Region volleyball final in San Diego when the Cougars and Sea Lions square off at 5 p.m. in Golden Gymnasium, where fans can also receive free admission for bringing one canned food item.

Winners of each match will earn an automatic bid to the NCCAA national championships in Kissimmee, Fla. beginning on Dec. 2 (soccer) and Dec. 5 (volleyball).
