  • Surrell Speeds To 100 WinsSep. 15, 2006 | Azusa Pacific head coach Jason Surrell earned his 100th career coaching win in his 127th game as Cougar head coach, becoming the second-fastest coach in NAIA history to reach the milestone. The NAIA's No. 4-ranked Cougars scored pairs of goals in the first 20 minutes of each half and cruised to a 4-1 nonconference victory over San Diego Christian.
  • San Diego Soccer SweepSep. 2, 2006 | The NAIA's No. 5-ranked Azusa Pacific registered its second shutout in as many days, and a 38-2 shots advantage allowed the Cougars to cruise to a 4-0 victory over Hastings (Neb.) heading into a nearly 2-week layoff from game action.
