Softball Camps
WHAT: The APU Softball Team will host camps again this summer! Young athletes will learn the individual and team skills necessary to compete in the increasingly popular sport of fast pitch softball. Camps will emphasize individualized instruction, including offensive and defensive fundamentals. Participants will also learn the importance of discipline, confidence, and enjoying the game from women who know what it takes to play collegiate softball. Come learn with a team that has consistently placed in the NAIA’s top 25 with nine post-season appearances in the past 12 years, including three GSAC conference titles and a second place finish at the NAIA National Championship.
Cougar Hitting Clinic (ages 10–18)
Join the 2008 APU Softball Team as they put on the Cougar Hitting Clinic. Learn drills and skills to help you perform at the plate with confidence and success.
APU Defensive Clinic (ages 10–18)
Come out and take some balls with the Cougars as they work with you on defense. Learn inside tips to sharpen your game.
APU Team Camps (ages 8–14 and ages 15–18)
Take your team to the next level by training with the Cougars! Be challenged, work hard, and have a good time at these two camps, one for each age group.
Cougar All Around Camp (ages 6–12)
Come out to the Cougar All Around Camp! The 2008 APU Softball Team will guide you through all aspects of the game including pitching, catching, baserunning, sliding, and life as a college athlete.
Cougar Advanced Camp (ages 13–18)
Come out to the Cougar Advanced Camp! The 2008 APU Softball Team will guide you through all aspects of the game including pitching, catching, baserunning, sliding, and life as a college athlete.
