Bethany Weisser

Weisser works with the Cougar infielders and assists in the day-to-day operations of the program.
A Northern California native, Weisser spent her final 2 collegiate seasons at Azusa Pacific after transferring from Samford University in Birmingham, Ala. In her 2 years as a Cougar, Weisser appeared in 70 games, starting 67, primarily at shortstop.
She appeared in 94 games at Samford, playing first- and third-base.
Weisser prepped at San Ramon Valley High in Alamo, Calif., where she was a 4-time All-East Bay Athletic League honoree, earning first team honors as a junior and senior. She batted .418 over her final 2 seasons. She played on 3 EBAL championship teams. She also lettered 2 seasons in varsity volleyball and was a key member of the Wolves' 2003 CIF championship team.
Weisser graduated from Azusa Pacific in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in youth ministry. She is currently working on her mater's degree in organizational leadership.
