Cougars To Host Tuesday NCCAA Doubleheader

Azusa Pacific hosts Point Loma in a 5:30 p.m. NCCAA women's basketball playoff game, followed by the second meeting in the past week between men's teams from Azusa Pacific and California Baptist at 7:30 p.m.

AZUSA, Calif. -- Azusa Pacific will host its National Christian College Athletic Association basketball playoff openers in a men's and women's basketball doubleheader on Tuesday, March 5. The women's team hosts Point Loma at 5:30 p.m., to be followed by the men's game against California Baptist at 7:30 p.m.

Admission to Tuesday's NCCAA playoffs is free, and a live video stream will be available for $7.95 at Azusa Pacific's live streaming portal.

The winner of the women's game will advance to the NCCAA regional championship games later in the week. The men's championship game will be hosted by Fresno Pacific on Wednesday, March 6, and the women's championship game will be hosted by California Baptist on Thursday, March 7. The winners of those games will advance to the NCCAA National Tournament, held March 13-16 in Winona Lake, Ind.
