AZUSA, Calif. -- With Saturday’s men’s and women’s basketball sweep of Holy Names University, Azusa Pacific has clinched the top seed in both the men’s and women’s National Christian College Athletic Association West Regional basketball playoffs next week. The West Regional playoffs will consist of three teams, which are seeded identically for the women’s and men’s tournaments.

The top-seeded Cougars will host the West Regional championship games in a women’s and men’s doubleheader on Tuesday, March 4, taking on the winner of No. 2-seeded Point Loma and No. 3-seeded Bethesda, who also meet in a women’s and men’s doubleheader on Monday, March 3, in San Diego.

The admission price for the doubleheader is $7 per person, but free admission will be given to anyone who brings a canned food donation to help support the St. Frances of Rome Food Bank in Azusa. Canned food donations will be accepted at all entrance doors to the Felix Event Center.

Live video for both games will be available at a pay-per-view cost of $7.95, and live stats for both games will also be provided at the link below.
