GSAC Perfection - Again

AZUSA, Calif. -- Azusa Pacific completed on of its most impressive regular seasons in program history by swamping Vanguard, 8-1, in Azusa.

The Cougars did not drop a set as they completed an undefeated conference campaign for the fifth consecutive year. They wrapped up the GSAC championship earlier in the week and will now prepare for postseason competition.

Boris Bakalov was victorious at No. 1 singles over Dieter Weislmaier setting the tone for a quality day of singles play as Azusa Pacific did not drop a set all afternoon.

With the win, the Cougars improved to 21-1 overall and finished 12-0 in the GSAC.
