Leah Hoffee is entering her first season as the women's tennis assistant coach after a successful four-year career as a player at Azusa Pacific. In four seasons the three-time All-American registered a 53-16 record in singles play, and in 2012 she went a combined 31-3 between doubles and singles, posting three wins over ITA top-50 players.
She opened her senior season on a 14-match winning streak, finishing with a 15-2 mark for the second consecutive season. Hoffee also holds the strange honor of having never completed a singles match at the NAIA national championships, despite competing in four straight seasons (eight matches).
Hoffee is currently engaged to former Cougar football player, Tim Taylor, and is working towards her master's degree and single-subject teaching credential.
