AZUSA, Calif. -- The NAIA’s No. 8-ranked Lewis-Clark St. (Idaho) won 2 of 3 doubles to cruise past No. 18-ranked Azusa Pacific in a non-conference tennis match Wednesday.

Marilyn Wise and Hephzibah Segura teamed together at No. 3 doubles to pick up the Cougars lone doubles’ point. Segura then dropped Khaliun Enkhjargal, 6-4, 6-1, at No. 3 singles for the Cougars’ other point.

Wise nearly upset Daniela Poeschl at No. 6 singles, before falling, 0-6, 7-6, 10-8.

With the loss, Azusa Pacific drops to 5-6. LC St. improves to 8-5.
