  • Women Take Opening MatchMay 13, 2002 | The Azusa Pacific women's tennis team had little trouble in its opening round victory of the NAIA Championship Tournament, downing University of Sciences in Philadelphia, 5-0.
  • APU Falls in Region FinalMay 2, 2002 | Azusa Pacific took 2 of 3 doubles' matches, but Point Loma won 4 of 5 completed singles' matches for a 5-3 win over the Cougars in the 2002 NAIA Region II Championships in Costa Mesa.
