HIGH SCHOOL: Competed 4 seasons in track & field at David Douglas High in Portland, Ore. ... Was a 2-year all-district honoree in both the long and triple jump, winning the district long jump title as a 2007 senior with a career-best leap of 21’ 8” ... Finished 11th in the long jump at the state 6A meet ... Also ran a leg on the Scots’ 4x100 relay that finished eighth in the state ... Other lifetime bests are 44’ 0 1/2” in the triple jump, 15.59 in the 110 hurdles and 43.64 in the 300 hurdles.
