THIS YEAR: One of 11 freshmen on Azusa Pacific’s 37-man roster, Colin Glasgow is a developing pole vaulter who could prove to be a diamond in rough as his collegiate career unfolds … Figures to be a factor in the GSAC meet and is looking to qualify for the NAIA championship meets.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in track & field for 3 seasons for head coach Jeff Herron at Lee’s Summit (Mo.) West High … Was a 2-time all-section, and 3-time all-district and all-conference honoree … Opened his prep career with a freshman-season best vault of 10’ 6”, moving to 12’ 6” as a sophomore, and 13’ 6” as a junior before setting a personal best vault of 14’ 6” during his 2007 senior season … Also lettered 1 season in football (receiver)

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 8, 1988, in Tupelo, Miss. … Parents are Scott and Sherilyn Glasgow … Has 2 sisters (Tiffany, Faith) … Has not declared a major but is interested in the graphic design field … Enjoys art and has won various art awards for his work.
