Nick Cullen-Carroll is in his third year as an assistant coach at Azusa Pacific, where he serves as the strength and conditioning coach for the track & field program. He was part of a coaching staff that led the Cougars to the 2012 NAIA Women's Indoor National Championship.
Cullen-Carroll competed for Azusa Pacific's track & field team for three years (2008-10) after playing football his freshman year. He threw discus, shot put, hammer, 35-pound weight, and javelin for the Cougars.
During his prep career at San Jacinto High School, Cullen-Carroll competed in football, track & field, and weightlifting. He was a two-time league champion in the discus throw and a two-time bronze medalist at the weightlifting junior national championships.
Cullen-Carroll graduated from Azusa Pacific in 2010 with his degree in applied exercise science, and in 2012 he also earned a master's degree in kinesiology from Azusa Pacific. He currently resides in San Jacinto.
