AZUSA, Calif. –- The start lists for the 2007 California Invitational Decathlon/Heptathlon and the Mt. SAC Relays Decathlon/Heptathlon, both hosted by Azusa Pacific, have been set for next week’s competition.

Nearly 90 athletes comprise the field of 4 different multi-events which begin at Azusa Pacific, Wednesday, April 11, and continue through Thursday, April 12.

Thirteen decathletes will go head-to-head in the Mt. SAC Relays Decathlon, highlighted by NCAA Division I All-American Chris Richardson, last year’s Big West Conference champion at Long Beach State, and 2-time NCAA Division II champion Chris Randolph, formerly of Seattle Pacific.

Sixteen ladies fill out the Mt. SAC Relays heptathlon field, including last year’s runner-up Jackie Poulson, a former 2-time All-American at Idaho State, and current Oregon sophomore Kalindra McFadden, who finished third in last year’s Mt. SAC Relays heptathlon with a career-best 5,428 points and then went on to score at the Pac-10 Championship meet. Another 32 ladies will compete in the California Invitational hepathlon.
