AZUSA, Calif. -- Click on the “Results” button to view the entire results of the Mt. Relays and California Invitational Decathlons and Heptathlons held at Azusa Pacific University, April 13-15.

Canadian Ruky Abdulai successfully defended her crown in the Mt. SAC Relays Heptathlon, taking the event meet with a score of 6,105 points, and besting Sharon Day of Asics, who finished second with 5,828 points.

Junior Gray Horn of the University of Florida won the Mt. SAC Relays Decathlon with a personal-record score of 7,791, breaking his former personal best by more than 100 points. He posted personal-bests in the 110-meter high hurdles (14.41) and the javelin throw (172’ 8”) to secure his victory.

Junior Joenisha Vinson of Portland State won the California Invitational Heptathlon with a Big Sky Conference season-best and personal-record score of 5,227 points. She was 1 of 4 competitors among the top 5 finishers to tally a personal-best in the heptathlon.

In winning the California Invitational Decathlon Noah Palicia scored the second-best decathlon in Academy history with 7,385 points, edging Brock Spandl of Minnesota, who finished second with 7,384 points.
