  • Break Out Instead of a BreakApr. 15, 2006 | While the rest of the student body took a break for Easter, the Azusa Pacific men's and women's track & field teams enjoyed a breakout week of competition at 3 different meets in 4 days.
  • Wade Deep for VictoryApr. 13, 2006 | Michigan freshman Bettie Wade wasn't rattled by the quality field of competitors. The rookie was poised and impressive in winning the California Invitational Heptathlon at Azusa Pacific University.
  • Jordan Has Early Lead in HepApr. 12, 2006 | Lauryn Jordan of Oregon grabbed the early lead in the Mt. SAC Relays Heptathlon which is being held at Azusa Pacific in conjunction with the California Invitational Heptathlon and Decathlon.
  • Cougars Open It UpApr. 8, 2006 | Azusa Pacific hosted the Meet of Champions under beautiful weather conditions. Nearly 700 athletes competed in the all-day competition.
  • Entries Set for Track MeetsApr. 4, 2006 | Entries for the Meet of Champions (April 8) and the California Invitational and Mt. SAC Relays Multis (April 12-13) are set.
  • Home Where She BelongsApr. 1, 2006 | Thirteen-time NAIA champion Vivian Chukwuemeka returned to the track for Azusa Pacific after a year away and quickly stamped her ticket to the NAIA championships in winning 3 events in an 8-way meet at Point Loma Nazarene.
  • For Starters, Pretty GoodMar. 26, 2006 | Azusa Pacific put together some fine marks in its first official outdoor competition of the track & field season, a selected invitational host by Point Loma Nazarene.
  • Cougars go Fourth and SixthMar. 11, 2006 | The Azusa Pacific men finished fourth and the Cougar women were sixth at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Tennessee.
  • Running in the PackMar. 10, 2006 | After 2 days of competition, Azusa Pacific is in the hunt for the NAIA Indoor Men's Track & Field championship. However, so too are 3 other teams, setting up for what should a dramatic final day of competition on Saturday.
  • Back on Track?Mar. 9, 2006 | Azusa Pacific is back on track for an NAIA track & field championship. The indoor championship opens today in Johnson City, Tenn., and the Cougar men have their eyes set on the biggest prize.
