THIS YEAR: Transfer Tara Chambers will compete for the starting role vacated by 3-time All-GSAC middle blocker Chelsea Morgan A tall, athletic player who has the ability to step in and make an immediate impact Hits a variety of sets Is a strong blocker with good knowledge of the game.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played 4 seasons of varsity volleyball at Calvary Chapel High School in Las Vegas, Nev., for head coach Brian Carpenter Earned first team all-conference recognition as a 2005 senior A 3-time team MVP, was chosen her teams top offensive and top defensive player in both her junior and senior seasons Received honorable mention for the Best Athlete of Southern Nevada award Also played 2 seasons of varsity basketball for the Lions.
PERSONAL: Born August 30, 1987, in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., to Frank and Kelly Binek Has twin brothers (Brad, Bryan) and 2 sisters (Roberta, Erin) Majoring in communication Enjoys playing beach volleyball and spending time with family.
