HIGH SCHOOL: Played 4 seasons of varsity volleyball at Calvary Chapel High School in Las Vegas, Nev., for head coach Brian Carpenter … Earned first team all-conference recognition as a 2005 senior … A 3-time team MVP, was chosen her team’s top offensive and top defensive player in both her junior and senior seasons … Received honorable mention for the Best Athlete of Southern Nevada award … Also played 2 seasons of varsity basketball for the Lions.

PERSONAL: Born August 30, 1987, in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., to Frank and Kelly Binek … Has twin brothers (Brad, Bryan) and 2 sisters (Roberta, Erin) … Majoring in communication … Enjoys playing beach volleyball and spending time with family.
