AZUSA, Calif. -- Putting a cap on one of the most storied careers in Azusa Pacific volleyball history, senior Jenna Sagehorn was named NAIA All-American today for the fourth consecutive season.
Sagehorn, who becomes Azusa Pacific’s first-ever 4-time All-American, was named to the second team for the second consecutive season. She earned third team honors in 2000 and 2001.
The senior from Chino Hills, Calif., completed her decorated career as the Cougars’ all-time leader with 1,670 career kills. She also finished second with 1,670 digs and also finished in the top 10 with 109 service aces. This season alone, Sagehorn finished with 471 kills and 411 digs. Her 4.10 kills per game ranked fourth in the GSAC.
Sagehorn also became the first Cougar to earn 4 straight All-GSAC and All-NAIA Region II honors, and she earned her second straight NAIA Academic All-American honor as well. She was one of 10 GSAC representatives on this year’s All-American list.
