AZUSA, Calif. –- Azusa Pacific sophomore setter Courtney Fox was named Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) Setter of the Week today as announced by the conference.

The honor is the first of Fox’s brief career.

In 3 wins last week, Fox averaged 13.82 assists and 2.27 digs per game. She finished the week with 152 assists, 25 digs, 5 aces and 4 blocks in 11 games as the Cougars moved to 11-5 on the season.

In a win over Christian Heritage, Fox finished with 59 assists and 6 digs. She had 35 assists, 5 digs and 2 blocks in a sweep of Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) and then followed that up with 58 assists, 14 digs and 3 aces in a 4-game win at Point Loma Nazarene.

Azusa Pacific has won 3 straight and eight of its past 10. The Cougars travel to No. 13-ranked Biola Tuesday in a crucial GSAC contest.
