• Mustangs MasteredOct. 28, 2006 | After dropping a third game that featured 8 blocked attack attempts, the NAIA's No. 12-ranked Azusa Pacific put together a dominating performance in the fourth game to seal a 30-27, 30-22, 24-30, 30-13 win over The Master's in GSAC action Saturday afternoon at the Felix Event Center.
• Cougars Swept By Sunbirds In FresnoOct. 24, 2006 | Freshman Jill Baker’s solid performance at the NAIA’s No. 2-ranked Fresno Pacific was not enough to slow down the Sunbirds as No. 12-ranked Azusa Pacific was swept in Fresno Tuesday night, 30-23, 30-25, 30-26.
• Cougars Dropped In The PitOct. 21, 2006 | The NAIA's No. 12-ranked Azusa Pacific held a 10-7 lead over host Vanguard in the fifth game, but the Lions rallied in The Pit to pull off their second straight upset over a top-ranked team, defeating the Cougars, 18-30, 30-27, 30-26, 31-33, 15-13, Saturday night in Costa Mesa.
• Second Time Still SweetOct. 17, 2006 | For the second time this season, the NAIA's No. 8-ranked Azusa Pacific came back from a 2-game deficit to post a 5-game win over Biola, completing a season sweep over the No. 16-ranked Eagles with a thrilling 33-35, 27-30, 31-29, 30-28, 15-12 win Tuesday night in Azusa.
• Record Night Not EnoughOct. 12, 2006 | Freshman Jill Baker broke a 16-year old Azusa Pacific single-match record with 77 attack attempts, and she converted on many of those opportunities for a career-high 29 kills, but the NAIA's No. 8-ranked Azusa Pacific dropped a tight 4-game decision at home to No. 13-ranked Point Loma Nazarene, 30-27, 25-30, 30-28, 30-28.
