Mail Center

The University Mail Center exists to serve Azusa Pacific University faculty, staff, and students in all of their domestic and international mailing and shipping needs. We are a full-service mailing center, providing all the same services offered by the U.S. Postal Service, with the exception of C.O.D. shipping, money orders, and passports. We also provide the university the option of shipping through UPS, FedEx, and OnTrac at a discount.

Location and Hours

We are located on West Campus behind the Darling Library next to the loading dock. View on campus map.

Hours
Monday–Thursday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., and Fridays 8 a.m.–4 p.m.

Hours may vary during spring break, Christmas, summer, and other holidays. Contact our office at (626) 815-5002 for more information.

Insurance Provides indemnity coverage (up to $5,000) for lost or damaged items
Express Mail Insurance Indemnity coverage of $100 automatically included; coverage up to $5,000 available
Registered Mail The most secure service; provides maximum security (indemnity coverage up to $25,000)
Return Receipt Provides recipient's signature and date/time of delivery

Tracking and Delivery

Incoming

All incoming packages and accountable items can be tracked by Central Receiving, or by calling (626) 815-5111. In order to track a package, you will need to provide us with the following information:

  • The carrier that is to deliver the item
  • The tracking number
  • The name of the recipient
  • Arrival or shipping date

Outgoing

Please be aware that not all items sent through the Mail Center are trackable. Tracking is available upon request. In order to track an outgoing item, you will need to provide us with the following information:

  • The carrier through which the item was sent
  • The date the item was sent
  • How the item was sent (overnight, ground, 2nd day, etc.)
  • The tracking number
