Profile
A full-time faculty member in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science, Jim Larson, Ed.D. teaches numerous courses in the undergraduate curriculum, advises Exercise and Sport Science majors, and assists the department chair in certain administrative responsibilities. Prior to this position, Larson was an adjunct faculty member for both graduate and under graduate Physical Education at Azusa Pacific University. In addition, for the past two years, he has served as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at APU. Larson brings a wealth of professional experience, having taught and coached in the college setting for more than twenty years and having worked in the business world for more than fifteen years. Larson is a member of Saddleback Church, is active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and is involved in various coaching clinics internationally for Athletes in Action.
