Kimberly B.W. Denu, Ph.D., is a Fulbright alumna to South Africa. She has published works in the areas of African-American issues, women and family matters, welfare reform, and international relations. Denu, an ordained minister, continues to speak and do ministry in the greater Los Angeles area, as well as participate in ongoing ministry throughout the world.
With degrees in sociology and social work, her teaching areas include ethics, family research, and leadership, including teaching in the Global Leadership program, which allows her the opportunity to train leaders who are working on graduate degrees throughout the world. In addition to her professorship in the Department of Graduate Social Work, she serves as special advisor to the president and provost.
