Profile
Kimberly Setterlund, assistant professor, is the field education director/coordinator for the MSW Program. Her responsibilities include developing student internships, field instructor training, integration of academic curricular content in field activities, and assuring that all aspects of the field sequence meet CSWE accreditation standards. She is also involved in teaching field-relevant courses. Her professional experiences include coordination of the Mental Health Stipend Program for the MSW program at California State University-San Bernardino, and medical and clinical social work practice in settings including hospitals, the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center, and services for youth with histories of psychiatric hospitalizations. She has also directed a psychosocial rehabilitation program for adults with severe mental disabilities. Setterlund has a strong professional interest in postpartum mental health issues and has conducted provider trainings and worked with support groups in the greater Los Angeles area. She also maintains a private clinical practice.
