Michael Laymon, PT, DPTSc, O.C.S., CCD is a professor and the founding chair of the Department of Physical Therapy at Azusa Pacific University. Laymon came to Azusa Pacific University with extensive clinical and teaching experience in physical therapy, having worked in hospitals, home care, industrial medicine, in and outpatient rehabilitation, and owning/operating his own physical therapy private practice. He serves as a manuscript reviewer for several professional journals and California court consultant for rehabilitation. He teaches courses on the introduction to health care systems, physical therapy administration, and multiple systems dysfunction.
