Sharon Lehman’s, Ed.D., main interest is to educate the whole person through physical education and athletics, developing leaders of the future. She researched the concepts of leadership and perception for her dissertation and uses her findings and continuing research to help teach and mentor students to become exceptional educators and coaches She is currently the chair of Exercise and Sport Science, senior women's administrator, and associate professor in Physical Education.
