Message from the Chair
If
you are interested in the field of psychology, take a closer look at APU. Our
Department of Graduate Psychology offers three programs to suit a variety of
academic and clinical goals. The Master
of Arts in Clinicial Psychology: Marriage and Family Therapy is a highly
respected program geared toward California state licensure in marriage and family
therapy, and is an excellent choice for students seeking solid clinical training
in a distinctly personal setting. The Doctor
of Psychology in Clinical Psychology: Family Psychology, the recognized
degree for today's practitioners, offers a comprehensive approach to psychology
education, seeking to produce high caliber practitioner-scholars through balanced
emphasis on the science of our programs, orientation to psychology, and commitment
to excellence in the education and training of psychologists.
If you would like to learn more about our programs and their benefits, we invite you to visit our campus, tour our facilities, and visit one of our classes. You can meet the current students to hear about their experiences in the programs and with a faculty member to discuss any questions. We look foward to hearing from you soon!
