Yep! The profs here really speak and live out their love of God in their actions and teaching. Plus, I mean, it is true, not all people who say they are Christians live out their lives in accordance to the scriptures, and we are all at different places in our walk, but APU recognizes this and really excels at putting people who are farther along in their walk alongside those at APU who might be struggling with their walk, or not even following Jesus at all. From professors to campus pastors to discipleship groups and the alpha program (which you will probably get to read about on the freshmen bloggers pages) here on campus, they are designed to place those who might be a little wiser in their journey with those who might be struggling or have questions.

I'd encourage (it's one of my favorite words) to not have expectations of a perfect Christian community... because you'll be disappointed wherever you go. I can say that if you venture out to school with an open mind and open heart and a confidence that wherever you go is committed to seeing Christian community happen (like APU is) and a hope that God will place you where you are suppose to be, then you'll find your fit.

Thanks Ellie! That really helps to know that the teachers at APU are great Christians who support their students. That's what I wanted to know.
I'm looking at going to APU next year and so many people tell me that I might be disappointed, 'cause in so many schools they say they're Christian, but then the teachers and staff really aren't Christian at all. So yeah, that's good to know =)
