Hey fellow APU people! So, as you can tell, I have mid terms this week! Oh no! Mid terms are basically like exams you take in the middle of your semester, and then you have final exams at the end of the semester. I just had my Aesthetics(Art) mid term, and even though it wasn’t that hard, it was still pretty challenging. I have another mid term tomorrow for Philosophy, and I think it’s going to be pretty difficult. Plato just confuses me sometimes….., and I am just not good at philosophical thinking. I’m more creative and visual, which is why I’m majoring in Theatre Arts..
So…studying for mid terms basically means I have to shorten the time I hang out with my friends, or hang out with them just to study, which is kind of awkward because I’m in a room with my friends studying, and we don’t even talk to each other!! Haha. Just the other weekend, I was studying with my friends here at High Sierra, Julie, and Sellika, and they said I was breathing too loud for them to study! Haha, and then they told me my stomach was growling too loud. It was pretty funny, because as much as we try to study, we can’t because we love to talk to each other. Just last night, I made facebook videos on their walls while I was studying in my room, and they made videos back while they were studying only like 300 feet away in their room. We sent videos back and forth on facebook of ourselves dancing to songs. I would post one on here, but they’re kind of embarrassing!
I cannot stress enough on how Azusa Pacific University is just amazing. The people here are great. The professors are great. The spirituality aspect is suprisingly great…it’s just a really really amazing college…Just last weekend, I went back to main campus for Homecoming weekend and it was probably the most amazing weekend ever, thanks to my 2nd North hall in Trinity, my really good friends on 1st North in Trinity, and my other campus friends and my brothers in Men’s Chorale, aka Man Choir. I’ll blog about my fun weekend back on the APU campus on my next blog. A part of me didn’t want to come back to High Sierra because of all the friends I left back on campus, but I know that High Sierra is exactly where I need to be this semester.
Thanks for reading and have fun this week! Halloween is comin’ up!
