411 on ASB

Sunday, March 2, 2008, 5:05 p.m.
PHEW! Well, this has been an intense couple weeks. I'm running for ASB President for the 2008-2009 school year. It's just been crazy and exciting getting together with my running mates and forming posters, flyers, ect. It's all over now, though. Elections are done on our online Cougar's Den account from tomorrow until Wednesday.

ASB is the Associated Student Body. It's not really like high school ASB, but it's a lot more of a student government.. It's completely run by students and not by hired staff or faculty. ASB is here to serve as the liason between the student voice and the administration. Being a part of it is a great opportunity for students to use their passions to produce constructiveness on our campus. So if you happen to be a self-motivated go-getter and want to be plugged into a group on campus, ASB is a great place to go. (Limited positions to be in the House of Representatives are open to freshman and transfers.)
