I’m at APU because . . . I was attracted to the High Sierra Semester. God’s presence, the learning, growth, and challenges I’ve faced, and the powerful relationships I have built are what keep me here.
I believe . . . Jesus has freed me from the imprisonment of the earthly life. He is the ultimate example of love. My life is to wake up every morning, to die to myself, and to live for and love others as He did...or at least strive for it.
These things are important to me: God, people, laughter, obedience to the Spirit of God, Shire East residence life, and the second half of the ice cream experience when your speech is impaired from your frozen tongue and the accumulated sweetness transfers to the cone and there’s more crunch than mush… yeah, that part
