APU Blogs

So all this semester Yvette and I were wondering how we are gonna do our whole roommate situation next year. I mean we actually get to choose where and who we want now so we gotta choose carefully. lol. I mean I could've this year but I wanted that opportunity to meet new people. And well also cuz of that lil' problem that I didn't know anyone before coming to APU haha. 

Our lil' "group" if you wanna call it that includes Yvette, Amanda, Lindsay, Salena, Vanessa, Lizzie, Jasmyn, Sarah, and myself. We don't exclude anyone, but these are the first people I think of when we go places. They are my girls :-p But our issue is that there are 9 girls and housing works with 2, 3, or 4 people. I knew that I was gonna stick with Yvette cuz that's my girl, my roommate. We knew that Amanda, Salena, Vanessa, and Lindsay were gonna be roommates. That leaves Lizzie, Sarah, Jasmyn, Yvette and I. Hmmmm not gonna work... too many! 

Yvette and i were beginning to stress about it. But something told me to not worry about. Just pray about it and it would be fine. So we found Shelby! Yay! She lives on our floor, super sweet girl and my girl Joy from UMOJA! I can't wait to live with these girls next year! 

So we are saying now just how much we are gonna cook next year cuz' we all love to cook. I have a feeling that might change next year lol. Hopefully not lol cuz I know we can all cook, and that would be so bomb having homecooked meals everyday :-p We are gonna try to live in Crestview next year. I pray that we get it! We'll see... I'll keep you updated haha
