I’m at APU because . . . when I visited, I instantly felt like I was at home. The people were genuine, welcoming, the spirit was enthusiastic and contagious, and I wanted to be apart of it.
I believe . . . in Jesus Christ as my personal savior. I also believe in faith, in hope, and in love, and I believe without Jesus Christ, these three things would not exist. I believe Jesus gives us faith to keep us strong, hope to see us through, and love to encourage one another. I believe that Jesus Christ loves me more then I could ever imagine, and He wants me to choose to love Him daily, to walk in obedience, and to show that same love to those around me. It may not be the easiest thing to surrender to Him, but I'm not really in control anyway, which is a crucial learning that has stretched me this year.
These things are important to me: quality time with family, having fun with friends, and making memories; spending time alone with God; music, no matter where I am there is always music playing; traveling, I haven't been to many places but I have plans to go. I'm a relational person and I care a lot about those around me. I love getting to know people and I love having fun and being spontaneous.
